Will diablo 4 have couch co op on pc?
Unfortunately, if you're a Windows PC user hoping to play Diablo 4 multiplayer co-op with friends locally, you're out of luck. Also, Diablo 4 only allows two people to play couch co-op together, so you won't be able to have a local party of four like you could in Diablo 3.
While speaking to Eurogamer, Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson explained that they couldn't introduce couch co-op to PC because of technical issues. As per Fergusson, it is harder to sign in to two Battle.net accounts on PC.
Thankfully, Diablo has a couch co-op mode if you play on a console. As soon as you make your first character and jump into the world of Sanctuary, you can invite a friend along to join you in your mission. All you need is a console, two controllers, and two PSN or Xbox accounts.
Diablo 4 couch co-op uses the host player's Battlenet account, so only one person in the party needs to actually own the game. The downside is that it only works on console, since you can't have more than one Battlenet account logged in at the same time on one computer.
Couch co-op and split-screen tend to be associated with consoles as the terms conjure images of friends playing Mario Party and Crash Team Racing on a TV, but PC owners have plenty of options as well.
Priorities of effort shifted as well: over-worked and under tight deadlines, game developers were (and are) forced to choose between making a co-op multiplayer campaign work at the potential expense of graphics, or ditching split-screen modes in order to focus on keeping their graphics up to date.
Does Diablo 4 Have an Offline Mode? Unfortunately, as of the time of writing, there is no offline play available in Diablo 4. Despite being able to play the game alone, players still have to connect to Battle.net to play the game.
The max party size in online co-op multiplayer for Diablo 4 is four players. If you play couch co-op, then you can have two players on the same screen and still combine with two other players online. But co-op isn't unlocked at the beginning of the game.
The most recent release in the franchise, Diablo 4, has both controller and keyboard support like the others before it.

Get to the main menu. Connect two controllers. Invite the second player to select their account. Once the two players have joined, you should be able to see both of you in the lobby.
Will Diablo 4 be open world multiplayer?
In short, Diablo 4 does have a fully open world map for players to explore across the campaign and end-game, making for a first in the franchise.
World Tiers are essentially just difficulty options that tweak how tough enemies are and determine what kinds of loot and rewards you can get while playing. Diablo 4 has four different ones available to pick from: World Tier 1: Adventurer, World Tier 2: Veteran, World Tier 3: Nightmare, and World Tier 4: Torment.
Couch co-op and online co-op modes
Cooperative games designed to be played by multiple players on the same display screen have come to be known as "couch co-op", "local co-op" or "single-player co-op" games.
Diablo 4 multiplayer allows players to team with others during the story campaign, dungeons, public events, and other endgame content in online co-op, local co-op, and PvP. Diablo 4 can be played cooperatively with up to four players, like in previous Diablo games.
Well, the answer is a resounding yes; Diablo 4 supports couch co-op gameplay on both PS4 and PS5, with the capacity for up to two players.
The Co-Op Experience
As in the original several players can join a server with their own characters and complete the story together.
Unfortunately for PC users, Diablo 4's couch co-op feature is only available on consoles, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
